Learn a little bit of the history

Saint Patrick is the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland who lived during the fifth century. At 16, he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave. Saint Patrick managed to escape to France where he is said to have found Christianity. He later returned to Ireland bringing Christianity to its people. The 17th March is the day of Saint Patrick’s death so this is the date recognised to celebrate his life and contribution to Irish heritage.
Go Green

Pull out your best green jumper and get it on for St. Patrick’s Day. If you want to go more extreme then don’t be shy to get the green face paint and hair spray out 🙂
Use some Irish Lingo

Make sure you describe everything as ‘good craic’ or ‘grand’ all day and if someone is being an idiot don’t be afraid to call them a ‘big eejit’!
Try out a bit of Irish Dancing

No need to enroll in a class if you don’t fancy it – just find a good youtube video.
