Kiran Ravilious

Kiran Ravilious is a pattern designer who uses the old fashioned technique of lino printing to develop her designs for textiles and paper goods.

Established in 2012, her designs have a hint of the tropics to them as she was raised in Singapore. While never strictly botanical, her work is a unique fusion of very different inspirations: the lush tropical growth of her homeland with the delicate patterns of English nature. Sheย hand-prints beautiful designs for fabrics, wallpapers and stationery at her studio in Leicester. Her work is a โ€˜mix of both worldsโ€™, drawing on the traditional hand-printing techniques of Asia and the artistic legacy of the Ravilious family that she has married into.

Kiran Ravilious has been commissioned by Heals and has her designs stocked in many museums, galleries and shops across the UK including Kew Gardens, Fortnum and Mason, Daunt Books, Lutyens & Rubinstein and more.

Her work has been featured in publications including The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Homes & Antiques, House Beautiful, Period Living and Country Living magazines.

Carefully curated by Keith Brymer Jones, we are delighted to be bringing her beautiful designs onto these range of ceramic mugs. An exciting new collaboration which adds a touch of sophistication to your home.
